Regional Sales Manager: Commercial Solutions

Our client is a high-growth global leader, providing complex security and life safety hardware solutions to a wide array of commercial, industrial and residential channel partner and end-user clients worldwide. We are currently engaged to identify and evaluate a Regional Sales Manager who will sell Intrusion, Video and Access Control products in an assigned Carolinas region. This individual is responsible for growing existing and developing new accounts; as well as supporting growth with VAR partners, Direct End-users, and the Distribution channel.
- Achieve annual sales targets in order to grow the business within assigned geography by calling on Commercial account partners, Distribution and Value Added Resellers.
- May sell through K-12 and other vertical markets within assigned geographic region
- Seek new business opportunities and generate quotes for assigned Video equipment sales within assigned geography.
- Establish new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and introduce new products.
- Generate plans and specifications to develop Video systems solutions.
- May present highly technical product information through training to customers, end-users and prospective new customers.
- Build and implement sales action plans to effectively and efficiently execute on company strategy.
- Influence marketing efforts, assist counterparts with product specific applications and deliver progress documentation, sales results, and customer opportunities through the Salesforce.com application.
- Participate in clear communication with Region Sales Director and Sales leadership team.
- Add value to customers through growth and support activities including product demonstrations, regional trade shows and product road shows.
QUALIFICATIONS and KEY DELIBERABLES:
- 4-7 years of technical sales experience.
- Security Industry Sales Experience preferred.
- Developed and proven sales skills including prospecting, negotiating, influencing and closing sales.
- Experience selling to the Distribution, Dealer, Value Added Resellers, and Strategic Partner community.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet increasing sales targets.
- Exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-managed and goal oriented with a strong work ethic.
