Job Description

Our Client is one of the world's most highly regarded providers of Security and Life-Safety Technologies with a comprehensive product portfolio of advanced software and hardware solutions to protect buildings, people and assets. 

As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies to establish brand consistency and increase sales for all products in the Global Solutions portfolio.  Interfacing directly with the most senior members of the Executive Leadership team, the selected candidate will assist with investor relations and market data needs, providing input and market research to support inorganic (M&A) activities.


 -Scope and lead research projects on customer verticals (qualitative interviews and quantitative studies) to identify key customer needs, perception of products/ brands vs. competition; conduct research on B2B channel/ go to market in terms of what our products/ brands mean to VARs/ installers/ distributors; and same with identifying strengths and weaknesses of product portfolio/products segments.

 -Assess Global Solutions portfolio of products and brands and develop global segmentation, determine target segments, brand strategy, architecture, positioning, investment roadmap to communicate effectively Global Solutions’ mission, values, addressing core end customer needs; i.e., maximize value of brands.

 -Once strategy is developed, define the implementation roadmap, conduct strategy workshops across multiple business units and categories to deploy around the world

-Proficient with stage gate process as part of portfolio management, collaborate with BUs to determine portfolio roadmaps

-Build foundations for global pricing strategy across our product lines in alignment with brand strategy

-Oversee the development and execution of messaging, downstream marketing programs, campaigns in collaboration with BU marketing teams. Lead and execute impactful product launches through integrated marketing planning

-Develop digital marketing programs with measurable KPIs

-Assist with investor relations and market data needs through World HQ

-Provide input and market research to support inorganic (M&A) activities


Educational requirements:

 -Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field

-MBA (a plus, but not required)


Knowledge / Experience Required:

-12-15+ years of experience within global environment and interaction with senior executive leadership

-Successful track record in strategy development, upstream and downstream marketing with global scope and strategic marketing experience

-Outstanding leadership and communication capacities to work in matrix and multifaceted organization and to liaise with the local businesses

-Ability to remotely work effectively with key partners globally

-Outstanding Finance and business acumen

-B2B and B2C strategic marketing experience preferred
