Quality Control Manager

Job Description:
Our client is a provider of quality textile products to the industrial and high spec apparel markets. They are currently seeking a Quality Control Manager. This individual will be responsible for incoming processes, in process standards and inspection standards. Qualified candidates will have experience working in the Chemical Coating Industry.

Requirements:
Responsibilities: • Lead continuous improvement activities. • Maintain and improve the organizations Quality Management System to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, level of production, quality and delivery. • Manage a team of four technicians. • Write, review and evaluate weekly and monthly quality reports, objectives, and corrective actions. • Demonstrate good problem solving techniques in root cause analysis. • Interface with customers, suppliers and production to ensure effect communication and timely implementation of company wide corrective actions. • Oversee company quality actions, initiatives and requirements per internal and external customers. • Improve overall customer satisfaction. Will be responsible for dealing directly with customers on quality issues. • Assist in developing and improving document and data control functions.

Comments:
Requirements: • Experience with quality from a textile or paper industry A PLUS. Experience working in a chemical coating environment required. • Proven history as a company wide change catalysts. • Previous experience managing with a “hands on approach”. • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
