Regional Sales Manager - Access Control

Job Description:
Our client is a leader in the design, development, and manufacture of enterprise level Access Control Technologies. Their solutions support commercial, government, transportation, manufacturing, banking, retail and education markets. They are currently seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a multi-state territory including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana. Qualified candidate will have knowledge of Access Control and/or Video technologies and be responsible for achieving sales goals by effectively managing and growing an existing integrator/VAR network within the assigned territory, and by meeting with consultants/specifiers. Working from a home-based office with at least 50% travel within the region, the ideal candidate should have a minimum of four years experience. Sales background will be with commercial technologies either while on board for a competitive Access control/Video manufacturer or for a Commercial/Industrial systems integrator that supports enterprise level solutions. The selected candidate must reside within the designated region with established business contacts and relationship while attending sales and marketing meetings, trade shows and industry events as necessary.

Requirements:
Essential Skills and Requirements: • Knowledge of systems integration marketplace in Southwest territory • Demonstrated and proven sales ability of Access control and/or Video technologies • Excellent PC Skills - Excel, Word, Power Point • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities • Ability to travel throughout territory • Bachelor’s degree; or 4-6 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
