Job Description:
Our client seeks a National Sales Manager. The National Sales Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Sales, North America. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a sales and sales support team in exceeding annual sales budget in market segments including Hotels, Timeshare and Condo segments.
Responsibilities:
• Training and Development of Sales Team.
• Monthly forecasting of incoming sales in all Hospitality markets.
• Provide product demonstrations, presentations, and security consultation as needed
• Ability to develop action plan to reach aggressive growth objectives
• Work directly with Marketing and Purchasing on pricing and promotional strategies.
• Engage all internal departments in supporting the customers of Hospitality Sales
• Look for new opportunities and determine viability while maintaining focus in core markets.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must have good planning and leadership skills.
• Can lead resources (people, support) to get tasks completed.
• Must have the ability to effectively interface with all levels of management.
• Can analyze both successes and failures for clues to improvement.
• Can handle multiple activities at once to accomplish goals.
• Exchanges information with appropriate people to complete work.
Qualifications:
• Ability to understand and communicate about technical products
• Ability to work well with other internal departments to give and receive support
• Responsible for consistently meeting defined monthly sales objectives
• Proven strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Lotus Notes, Excel, Power Point, and Word required
• Knowledge or experience of electronic lock/safe industry and markets preferred
