Frances Reitman, President

Fran founded Reitman Personnel, in 1988. She began her recruiting career with an international staffing service and then founded and built a temporary division for a direct hire firm. 

Her career has taken her in many directions including nine years as a Human Resource Director in a healthcare setting, ten years as an educator and nine years in finance.

She is former Member of the Board of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce, former President of the Branford Chamber of Commerce and served as Secretary to the CT Association of Personnel Services. Fran currently serves on several Branford Chamber committees and with various local and regional service organizations.   Her awards include the Branford Chamber of Commerce Val Karlawish Service Award, Volunteer of the Year Award and 2004 and 2007 Company of the Year.

Fran founded and serves as President of the Reitman Management & Leadership Institute.

 


Howard Reitman, Senior Vice President

Howard joined Reitman in 1992. He is largely responsible for supervision of executive and technical direct hires and manages the Reitman Healthcare and Science practice. Howard is a former Healthcare Administrator, with a Master of Social Work from Hunter College and a Master of Science in Administrative Medicine from Columbia University School of Public Health.

He serves on the Board of Directors of Leeway, Inc. (serving people with HIV/AIDS). He has served on the Board of the Branford Chamber of Commerce and was a founding member of the Shoreline Chamber's Government Relations Committee. His awards include the Branford Chamber of Commerce Val Karlawish Service Award. Howard is a Loins Club Melvin Jomes Fellow.

Howard is instrumental in the continued development of the Reitman Management and Leadership Institute.

 

 

Anthony Avallone, Managing Partner

Anthony joined Reitman Personnel in 1993 upon graduating from Southern CT State University. He manages Reitman's recruiting staff and places temporary, permanent and executive level candidates in a variety of industries.

He is past President of the Professional Business Association and was a “40 Under 40” honoree in 2001. He is a Past Chairman of the Branford Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the 2004 recipient of the Branford Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award and 2007 Val Karlawish Award.

Anthony is a volunteer baseball, football and basketball coach.

He is instrumental in the management of the Reitman Management and Leadership Institute.

 


Kevin Spagone, Vice President/Director of Security Search

Kevin joined Reitman Personnel in 1997. Kevin partners with security firms nationally performing senior executive, sales management, engineering, and technical recruiting. Locally, Kevin serves a broad range of business sectors including Sales/Marketing and Healthcare and Science. A graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a BS in Business Management, Kevin began his staffing career in Manhattan prior to joining Reitman Personnel. Kevin is a member of the Connecticut Alarm and Systems Integrators Association (CASIA) and a member of the Board of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce.


Christen Gagliardi, Office Manager

Christen joined Reitman Personnel in 1998. Christen manages our office, payroll, bookkeeping functions and our support staff and is our Computer Network Administrator. Christen serves as assistant to the President and supports all Reitman activites.


Cindy Carlson, Account Executive

Cindy joined Reitman Personnel in 2010. She is a graduate of Temple University with a BA in Communications. She has taken several post-graduate courses at Rutgers University and Southern Connecticut State University. Before joining Reitman she was a successful Sales Representative working for a New Haven County based Publication. She services Reitman clients and candidates in both the temporary division as well as the direct hire sector.

Michele joined Reitman in 2005. Her winning personality and ability to troubleshoot all challenges makes her an invaluable member of our team. Michele manages our resume and database systems and assists our recruiters with the placement process. 


Nita Lad, Candidate Development Specialist

Nita Lad joined Reitman in 2005. She identifies and recruits candidates for permanent opportunities in a variety of industries including for Reitman Security Search. Nita started her career in marketing before focusing on recruitment. She comes direct from England. While, she lived in Connecticut for many years, Nita now works remotely from the UK. Nita has a degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Leeds and has Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.


Christopher Chimento, Candidate Development Specialist

Christopher joined Reitman in 2011. He comes to us having completed 4 years of successful recruiting and has a previous background in Sales and Engineering. He is a graduate of Lynn University with a BA in Psychology. Currently he is supporting the permanent division at Reitman helping to build an excellent candidate pool while developing strong relationships with clients. Christopher was born and raised on the shoreline and resides in Guilford with his wife Megan.

Kevin joined Reitman in 2011. He is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. He studied Business Management with minors in Marketing and Human Resources. Kevin is thrilled to be working at Reitman with such a great team of people! He enjoys recruiting candidates and works hard to successfully place qualified candidates for Reitman clients.
